This site started two years ago when I had much more spare time to put an effort to it. Its purpose was for a little corner in the web to exist about Burton's Batman films, two of the most enjoyable and stylish fantasy films ever IMO. Of course there's Schumacher's films as well, and they are included for completion's sake. As the years passed, I took a less negative view upon Batman Forever, and now I appreciate it as it is - mindless colorful fun. It's not that bad. It's not that good, but compared to other Part III films I know (e.g. Superman III, Robocop 3) or certain comic book films (Spawn, The Shadow, The Phantom) it feels like a masterpiece. Its wonderful musical score by Elliot Goldenthal is maybe another reason I decided to give it a second chance in "my book". And now that a Batman 5 film is at the works, I even started to hate less the excrement Batman & Robin. Who cares, Batman returns (pun intended) on the big screen, and let's hope that this new film will kick serious ass. In 2005 we'll see the LAST Star Wars film AND the first Batman movie in 8 years. That years seems too far...

This isn't supposed to be a news site, I don't have any resources or spare time to engage in such an effort, and since BATMAN-ON-FILM has been around for 5 years, who needs another news site? This site, alongside the likes of BATMAN MOVIE aims to be an archive site with fun stuff about the movies and almost all the things related to them. Hope you like it. That's the best I could do with Word (that's why only I.E. can view this site - damn this M.S.!)
